Harley-Davidson has released an entertaining 30 minute video outlining some new models, plans and activities for 2022. Catch it below.
New bikes include ST models of the Street Glide, Road Glide and Low Rider.
Before you get that far there’s a feature on how the Motor Company won the US Bagger road racing championship, knowledge they used to help build the title-winning machine, and from there helped choose many of the accessories available so you can build a high performance bagger. Things like Öhlins shock, now a factory Harley-Davidson accessory.
A bike which might get non-Harley riders to move to the brand include the Low Rider ST. I was impressed by the Low Rider S when I tested it back in 2020 – for the ST Harley has installed the 117 cubic inch motor (its largest stock engine), added longer travel suspension, a fatigue-busting fairing and small hard panniers.
As they say in the video, it’s designed for sports riding most of the time with the occasional tour thrown in. Here at Australian Road Rider we think this bike will be a lot of fun, offering a different riding experience to many conventional sports-tourers.
Harley also announced there will be a big celebration of the company in 2023 for its 120th anniversary… start saving for that trip to Milwaukee.
More info on the new models soon.
