Triumph Trident

Triumph Trident

A new three cylinder naked bike aimed at the LAMS market, Triumph’s new Trident uses a Traditional Triumph name on an all-new bike aimed at a young audience. Sporty, capable and different to most of the twin-cylinder machines being offered by other manufacturers, the new Trident aims to provide everything you need without expensive bells-and-whistles. There’s a tubular steel frame and the engine looks like it’s a stressed part of the chassis. The twin front discs, big banana-shaped swingarm and USD forks point toward a sporty ride, but the seat-footpeg-handlebar positions point to something not too aggressive. So it’s going to be an all rounder, good looking, capable and economic. With the success other manufacturers have been having in this part of the market – most notably Yamaha with the MT-07 – has inspired Triumph to build a competitor.
