CFMOTO 210HP V4 UNVEILED AT EICMA!

A new CFMoto 210hp V4 called the V.04 Engine Concept has been unveiled at EICMA.

In a sure sign that Chinese manufacturer CFMoto is keen to show off its engineering skills, a new CFMoto 210hp V4 engine has been unveiled at EICMA. The new 997cc 90-degree V4 engine makes a claimed 156kW (210hp) of power at 14,500rpm and peak torque of 114Nm at 12,500rpm.

Called the V.04 engine concept, the new engine obviously opens new segments for the brand; think sportsbike, hyper naked and high-end adventure machines, for starters.

The new V4 engine has bore x stroke dimensions of  81mm x 48.4mm respectively, and it features titanium connecting rods and valve train components, and a counter-rotating crankshaft.

Weighing just 61.5kg dry, the V.04 is exceptionally lightweight, and according to CFMoto this optimises agility for racing applications, while the counter-rotating crankshaft is included to enhance cornering performance and anti-wheelie effects for improved track performance.
